Celebrate Spring Break at a Casual Italian Restaurant

Casual italian restaurant

The beach is overrated! Casual Italian restaurants are the real hot spots this spring break!

Spring break! Woooohoooo!! What’s the first stop? Ocean City? Panama City Beach? Mexico?! Nope! Basta Pasta! With the University System of Maryland breaking for spring this week, Harford County public schools taking next week off, and Baltimore County schools the week after that, we’re starting to feel the spring fever. Who needs to escape to a beachfront getaway when you can kick it at home, save some money on airfare, and save some money at a casual Italian restaurant while you’re at it? Sounds like a pretty good deal to us!

Spring Break Travel Isn’t For Everyone

Realistically, fancy spring break travel isn’t always the most practical. Whether it doesn’t work financially for your budget, doesn’t work logistically with a work schedule, or it simply isn’t your cup of tea to go travel and you’d rather relax at home instead, we’re here for you! We don’t want you to feel left out, and while we can’t quite provide you with a beach, we can give you something almost as good — a delicious, authentic, and affordable Italian meal. It’s hard to go wrong with comfort food, even if it doesn’t let you lay out on the sand.

A Casual Italian Restaurant Beats School Any Day

Hey, even if you can’t travel on your (or your kids’) spring break, at least it isn’t school! Instead of waking up early, struggling through math, dozing through English, and napping through history, sleep in, take a deep breath, and relax! The home stretch of the school year is rapidly approaching, and it’ll be summer time before you know it. Celebrate the fact that you’ve made it this far through the school year; gather around one of our tables and let us take care of you.

Basta Pasta is a great place for any dining event, big or small, intimate or casual. If you’re itching for warmth this spring break, forget the beach — let us recommend a piping hot plate of pasta instead.
